Congrats on the payoff. I wouldn't cancel my comprehensive, your truck is still worth a considerable amount of money. Check your bill, the comprehensive portion might be less of a cost than you think.

    Happy Friday!

Congrats Harry! I agree with the others. Insurance helps protect your assets, and your vehicle is a significant asset. Anything happens without full coverage, it’s on you to figure out a new vehicle out of pocket. Aaa has been reasonable for us but it’s packaged with our homeowners. Not sure how aggressive they would be for standalone auto but it is worth looking into.

    Half day today, wedding tonight!

Going up to Mahoney's Irish Pub in Poughkeepsie with the wife to see a comedy show tonight. Dave Smith and a couple of other stand ups are going on. Anyone who enjoys jokes at the expense of both sides of the political aisle will certainly enjoy it. Food on the pub side is excellent too.

This. Especially where people seem to have insufficient or no insurance, plus hit and runs. Not worth the risk.

Just looking to spend less money.

I'm sure I can find something cheaper with good coverage. No accidents or tickets in the last 3+ years.

Good evening CT. Took a nap earlier.

Oh boy, is that wind kicking up!

Going to work on the fuse/relay box tomorrow and get it ready for when the switches get delivered.
Does anybody know the size hole needed for a Carling switch?

    Lost 3-2.

It was the last game of the season, so we ended with a 5-3 record. If we won today, we would have won our league. Really bummed for the kids.

But it's a great improvement from last season where we finished 1W - 2D - 5 L. I think we're on the right path... Hopefully.

Next up, IFA Tournament in Boston the weekend before Thanksgiving to end the fall session.

Own the Tacoma (no payments)? Full coverage?
I'm paying $200? or so a month. It comes right out of my checking so I don't miss it. But I still want to pay a lot less.

That's more my style. What company you with? I rent, so I can't bundle it with homeowners.

That seems pretty high. I'm at I think $600 a year for mine, full coverage. That is bundled with the Rav4 and the homeowner, but I'm sure you can find better with that split.

I had Mapfre for many years, just changed to Safety about a yr ago for a little savings.
