Glad they did well. I absolutely loved my Toyos in the snow. Great tires all around, @crashngiggles and I are on the same page on that front

Snowing again here, had snow then sleet then a break but back to straight snow again. Probably 1-2" on the ground.

 

Still coming down pretty good. About 2" on the ground.

Happy Monday. Company gave us today off.

Got about 5 or so inches of snow, but it's all powder. Had to use the shovel.

Supposed to go to Trumbull for a soccer tournament for the oldest. Was supposed to start at 12 but got delayed until 12:30.

 

Morning guys. Probably about 3" here.

 

Getting frigid by the end of the week.

 

Kid won his tournament!

They played 3 games, all back to back.

Won all 3, then played the championship game right after that. Won that on penalty kicks.

All games they played were against 11 and 12 year old kids, and all of our kids are only 10.

Remote start FTW

-5 when I left for class this morning, used remote start but the windshield was still a literal block of ice when I got in lol

 

One of those would be so wasted on me since I always leave my truck in reverse when I park. I know the new remote systems have the safegard to not let the vehicle start if in gear, but that just means any time I tried to use mind Id have to go out to the truck anyway to put it in neutral! I really need to get my new garage but that has been moved to 2026 since the missus is wanting to do a big big trip to Australia this year for her 40th. So this will be another year of no garage for the taco nor any real modifications.

What is the consensus here on the soft toppers for the truck beds. I really want to get a hard cap with lift up side windows/doors, but I do not "need" that cap until 2027. That year I made the call that we are doing a massive 3 week road trip to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary.
