Hey Connecticut, our everything hurts

All done with this nonsense ...for now.

 

Goddamn is that some heavy snow. I have a short driveway (maybe 40' from the garage door to the street) so my electric snowblower usually more than does the job. The battery died about half-way through from how much effort it took to just move the stuff.

 

Howdy all. When I got up this morning, I found my neighbor had cleared my driveway. Good way to start the day.

Bought the grease and grease gun for the new upper control arms.


Now I need new axles, hubs/bearings and strut mounts, rotors and maybe a L/F caliper to replace the one from NAPA that's rusted.

I think that's all the parts I'm going to need to go through my front end.

Now as far as the rear is concerned. The U-bolts need to be trimmed, the bushings need a good lube and I have to see if I can find longer shock boots for the Bilstein's.

The wife and I brought the kids to sundown last night. So much fun getting them on the snow. Was perfect riding during the Super Bowl, place was pretty empty.

Now to grind through this work week.

 

My neighbor never clears her driveway until after dark. Her snowblower chute control is subpar

 

WTF!

No close neighbors. That was one of my prerequisites for the new place. Closest neighbor is over 100 yards away on the other side of the road.

 

I will politely speak with her about this. If it persists, she'll need an avalanche search and rescue team to find her car.
