Was supposed to go to Scotch Plains Tavern in Essex, CT for my sisters birthday today (yes, she was born on 4/20).
Her boyfriend was playing there (guitar). Turns out the two owners booked two different gigs so my sister's boyfriend's gig is the one that got cancelled.

My sister and I did have dinner at a childhood friends house last night. We haven't seen him in 30 or 35 years.

He has a 62/63 4-door Chevy Nova in storage that belongs to his wife and it is a long term project.

 

I wish. Need to be clean in case I get a job offer soon. Have an interview tomorrow.

Happy Easter to everyone who celebrates. Kiddos are currently running on candy, despite trying to limit them to a couple pieces.

Nice relaxing/busy weekend. Weather was nice but a bit breezy yesterday.

Day off tomorrow. I'll be taking a ride to Ikea, should be no one there, I hope.

Gentlemens...Good morning. I hope everyone had a great weekend and you were able to enjoy the nice weather; and to those who celebrate a Happy Easter. A couple updates from the past 2 weeks or so.... FIL ended up with an infection from the catheter, on antibiotics now and seemingly on the up....At 103 lbs...I am hoping this is rock bottom, only up from here! Was able to eat some food the past few days so there's that.
Bumper and winch install from 2 weeks ago... BodyArmor front bumper, Badlands 12k lb winch and a very surprisingly bright and well built lightbar from Harbor Freight.




Will move the ditch lights and use them as fogs, will replace the ditch lights.

I will also be replacing the front suspension. Like a moron, I thought I went with the heavy spring rate on the Ironman kit but turns out they are the medium rate which is rated for up to 200 lbs extra weight...I exceed that by about 50 lbs with the bumper and winch. I will also go the Dobbinsons route - I should've just done that in the first place. That being said, if anyone is looking for complete coilovers, let me know.

Freight company called the other day....the tent will be delivered next Tuesday.....Its coming along!!!
