    Hey CT Guys and gals!

    I'm heading down to CT to do some work on my rig with my buddy and I'm on the look-out for someone who has a shop press (12ton or more) that I might be able to use to press my front bearings; or a recommendation for a shop that can press them for a fair price.

    Any Recs?

    I'm sure a few will chime in with local auto machine shops that are closer. These are far away but there's Mike's Engine stand in Naugatuck & Service Auto Parts in Ansonia. Look up auto machine shops in that area and call to see if they're going to be open when you need them and have a press (most do).

    Thanks @vssman.
    I have called a few but they have had really high prices. upwards of 60$ a hub. Hopefully I'll find a place for 40$ or someone with a press to use.

    Create a for sale post in the 2nd Gen marketplace as well, just in case. Will get a lot more visibility there.

    I used to go to them but I go to NTB now. I got a pretty good deal on the Cooper RTx and last I saw was a buy2get2 sale out front.

    Good luck

    I have a press and a Jig I built to bolt these into. Do you need your old bearings pressed off the the hubs for new bearings or did you buy everything new and just need them pressed? I am in Vernon.

    @Mrcarp

    I'd be glad to drive over there, I'm actually from Vernon originally (near Vernon Diner).

    I have the new bearing as a "bearing module" from Rock Auto part # WA515040.
    I just need the hub pressed out of the old bearing module and into the new one.

    I picked up new o-rings and a seal from Toyota yesterday.

    Tan-Ishman brought his hub and bearing over today and we pressed his new bearing onto a hub. If anyone else needs this done, let me know.

    @Mrcarp had quick service!

    Unfortunately that hub bearing wasn't the source of my driver side "womp-womp-womp". Its was nice eliminating the source of noise though.

    That stinks, are are going to leave it alone or keep digging to find the source? I think I am going to do the ECGS bushing install that everyone talks about on here to see if that gets rid of mine. Does anyone have the needle bearing removal tool they would be willing to sell, rent, or loan?
