I know that intersection - use it every weekday.
natural gas is one of the reasons I'm in the house I'm in. now if you know a 3rd+ generation mason to rebuild my chimney in the spring.....

 

I don’t know about third gen masons but I do have a guy I have used several times. Has rebuilt several chimneys that I know of (2for me) as well as stone walls, the stucco over my garage (needed new steel support) and some other projects. They do good work, let me know if you want me to PM you the contact.

 

Hey all so I got that welder for Xmas and it's the hobart handler MVP 210 and it runs on 115/ 230. So I have the standard 120 in my garage and j would definitely like to upgrade to 240 anyone know any electricians that do side work or anything?

 

My dad does... not sure if he's be up for going up there though... probably would depend on his schedule, but I'll ask him and see what he says. I'm seeing him tomorrow night, I think, so I'll keep you posted.

EDIT: Both of my cousins do as well, so I'll ask them too.

 

I went ahead and got my new exhaust system built with the Black widow 2.5" Venom 250 muffler coming out behind the passenger rear wheel. I have the Venom 250 muffler with an AFe Stage-2 Si Pro 5R Cold Air Intake System Dry filter. It was 11F this morning when I shot the video while starting the truck.

I really do like the sound of the Venom 250 on my truck so far. The initial firing up sound is aggressive and loud enough but doesn't scare small children. With that said, your neighbors will definitely know when you have started your truck because the exhaust note travels inside the house easily. Just under normal idle while sitting at a light or in a drive through you wont notice it to much, but once you get on the throttle you and everyone around you will hear it.The idle time is relaxing for the most part. She really starts to sing when you are pulling through the parking lots and especially getting onto the highway or passing anyone, that just puts a smile on my face.

The biggest thing that I noticed with this muffler compared to the last system that was on my truck is how much "quieter" the Black widow muffler sounds inside the cab, It doesnt sound annoying or overly loud. It has some hum at 1500 rpm, but my old aftermarket exhaust system hummed at the same RPM, so going 35 down the road you might have a little bit but not an annoying drone. At 2k RPM while doing 70mph the exhaust is comfortably quiet and easy to drive, but once you bring the motor up to 3200 RPM she stops sounding like a Tacoma and sounds more like a beast.

Black Widow mufflers are definitely a company to look into if you want a very different sound compared to other Tacomas on the road.

 

Definitely sounds pretty good I'm gonna have to check this out I think, when you say "exhaust" do you mean like a cat back or full system

 

I had a shop build me a cat back system. The aftermarket exhaust that was on the truck rusted out and had to be cut off ahead of the muffler. I bought the muffler from http://www.blackwidowexhaust.com direct and then took it to an exhaust shop and had him bend me the new pipe out of stainless to match the factory run and weld the new muffler and new pipe in place.

Xmas day part 2.
This time it's the older grandkids 17 & 15. They live by the casinos and there lives are taking the high school route. They are both in Norwich Free Academy. Good students. Then you get the younger grandkids who are also here so it's a homecoming of sorts. Sort of like a Norman Rockwell picture.
I really enjoy these moments.

Soooo, I tried to beat the snow which I heard wouldn't start until noon.
Picked up a Uhaul with the Tacoma. 4 pin wasn't working, went to the mechanic who had me set in an instant, back to Uhaul & hooked up a 6x12 trailer w/ ramp. Went to New London & back to Danbury in all this mess. Definitely worse along the coast, roads iced, more snow... Must have passed 7-10 accidents. Had a landscaper towing an excavation rig on a trailer jack-knife in front of me, barely missed him, barely avoided jack-knifing myself despite the trailers valiant effort to.
By the time I got home I was so exhausted I passed out around 8:30pm! LOL, I'm usually up until 1 or 2 am.
That trip sucked!
