OK awesome ya that was pretty much my plans as well thanks again for all your help/info/inspiration.

 

I hope you put a big ol notch in your call.

 

Hahaha that's awesome I'm definitely doing a fan and beard mount and I saved the shell so I've seen guys do almost a necklace type deal with the spurs and shells so I'd like to try that to. As for the call I actually use the mouth calls so I'm thinking of starting a notch collection on the ol bang stick.

 

My original Lynch call broke and that had some action. I have a few notches on my other calls, but the old Lynch is my go-to call over the years.
I can't do the mouth calls,lol.

Haha ya alot of folks can't use em that's pretty much all I use and they still make me gag first thing in the morning but after the first few seconds it goes away. After this year with watching the youtube series with the guys from the hunting public their public land turkey tour and my own personal success I'm sold on the woodhaven calls. For there box and slate calls are definitely a little pricey but they sound outstanding.

 

Morning everyone. Happy Saturday. Was up until 1am last night setting up for my son's birthday party. Doing it inside since it's a shitty day outside. Party on!

 

So after getting my bird all taken care of he weighs in at 16lbs a beard length of just over 9" and a spur length of just over 1". for my first bird I definitely can't complain.

 

Woodhaven call work well , the past couple of years I have been using knight n hale calls a little more. After a while you get use to the call in your mouth. I have times that I run 2 calls in. Switching back and forth to sound like two different hens.

Prius hybrid battery going to need attention & hopefully it didn't take down the 12v battery during the 1 hour drive home.

Anyone have experience having hybrid cells replaced, favorite sources....
(At least it kept me from buying a motorhome I really shouldn't)
