Great weather today and tomorrow. Perfect to be locked inside the lab at work...

 

Well today's motorcycle ride was good ,went from Wethersfield to Exeter Rhode Island all back roads ,out through Voluntown so a lot of nice scenery ,not a lot of traffic at this point slightly warm in Rhode Island .Came back into Connecticut at Stonington the temperature was like 15 degrees cooler stopped in Groton for some whole clams onion rings french fries and steak and cheese sandwiches just a good day for the guys. Put about 200 miles on the bike makes up for the other day when It didn't want to start. Everybody be safe and drive carefully this weekend.

PS to my above post.
We also stopped at the Sub base in Groton ct and took a tour of the Natulas Submarine and Museum.
Very Interesting as i was in the USAF .
The Museum admission is free so that is incentive to visit.
The museum is off Route 12 North in Groton Connecticut about 2 miles from Route 95 stay in the left lane as the access road is also the road to the sub base ,and then you'll have sub base traffic in the right lane, the left lane will take you straight into the museum this is also a good tour for the young and old

Good to hear your trip was unevental.
While your in Texas be sure to take the Texas language course.
Be sure you learn to say Yee Haw and Wooooo correctly.
I was stationed in Texas to 21 months. I started to lose my New England accent and was picking up the Texas accent.
Then I was sent to Thailand and started to speak Thai (Saimamese).
When I was finally home no one and I mean no one could understand what the hell I was saying.

It was hot on Saturday!

 

I was down there Thursday to Saturday, flew back yesterday. It was 100 every day. Fucking nuts.

Back to work today.
Spent all morning cleaning up and restocking after the "inmates"broke into and plundered my now un-secured supply lockers.
Their bosses don't seem to care...sooo...I don't care as well.

 

Today' project . When to No. Attleboro Ma.today to pick up my buddies trailer.
Tomorrow going to Oxford Ct. to pick up a 22 hp Huskvarna lawn tractor.
I know the trailer is empty but it towed great . No sway didn' even know it was there. Ah 4.0 Lt. Torque.
Earning it' s keep.

getting the tractor from Little River Power Equipment by any chance? or from a private seller? yea the 4.0 pulls an empty trailer nice, but put a few thousand pounds on there and you'll definitely know its back there lol, i bet you wont even feel it with just the tractor either though.

Got the Taco back from the mechanic today. Last Wed it ws shifting a little funny. Zipped home between jobs with a stop at the grocery along the way. 3 blocks from home totally lost the clutch. Right under I-84 on a stretch of 5 lane wide local road bang, gone. The auto heavens opened though - suddenly all traffic on my side cleared & I was able to coast backwards to the side of the road, out of the way. So new clutch kit installed (clutch has been slipping since I got it so that's okay) & a new from dealer fork. Dang thing had a crack running thru it the size of the grand canyon. Dang - how'd I manage to do that!

and, installed the battery pack in the Prius for the 2nd time. 1st rush rush I have no working cars ACK rebuild failed. So cleaned up all the contacts, did a slow careful reassembly... & it works! Whoot car & truck back in order.
