Hey Connecticut, our everything hurts

I'm running the ko2's in 275 on my fj too. I really like them. Probably put 10,000 miles on them since I got them put on in Nov. Good snow traction, so far great off-road. Barely any wear do far(i got 5 and do a 5 tire rotation every 5k miles). As far as road noise I don't feel like it's bad at all. There's a little hum, nothing loud or overwhelming though. The fj isn't exactly the quietest inside anyways. They are heavy, but the 275's are E rated. I think you can get the 265's in c rated if you're worried about weight

Can't remember if you said it or not, but is your soft topper brown? I was on 84 going towards Newtown, about 5:14 or so, was stopped in traffic and saw a Taco coming down with a brown soft topper and looks like something on the hitch as well that maybe looked like a bike carrier or something?! It was right before exit 5, under the bridge right there.

Nice! I SPOTTED YOU FINALLY! If one of the black ones you saw had a bull guard in the front, than chances are that was me. I was literally stopped under that underpass when I saw you coming.

Looks good; I recently debadged my truck but I plastidipped my emblems last year and they held up great until I removed them. I went through a lot of carwashes and the plastidip didnt peel or come off at all. How many coats did you do? I think i did 4 or 5.

 

ya I did 5 coats as well that's good to hear tho cause I was just thinking to myself how it's gonna hold up during washing

I agree with the meet up it seems like we have a few people down for a meet now we just need to figure out the where and the when

 

I was thinking around Waterbury/ Hartford. Seems to be in the middle for everyone and I don't mind the drive.

 

That's most likely the best spot, since it's kind of in the middle of the state.

well seeing as that's my area I've lived here pretty much all my life I think the best place is probably the state Forrest. there's places to go and just hang out and there is a few mud holes. now this place IS NOT LEGAL TO OFFROAD but is totally legal to hang out in several parking lots that are nice and secluded
