I just got an Add a Circuit and tapped into my ignition at the fuse panel to run the OBA switch. 2nd gen should have the same

 

102,000 barely broken in!

Turned out okay for me. I left it in the parking lot & caught a ride home. Next day my companies garage where I was parked was able to roll it right in and fix it up. New alternator & new belt!

 

Just got back from a weekend trip at least a weekend for me ,I left yesterday morning with my buddy and we went to Rhinebeck New York out through Salisbury Connecticut ,took country roads to a motorcycle swap meet at the Rhinebeck Fairgrounds ,from there we went to his house in Cambridgeport Vermont ,took the Taconic Parkway most of the way up towards the Vermont border. Chambridgeport is next to Saxon river which is next to Bellows Falls, came home late this afternoon uphill downhill highways cruise control passing etcetera first gas check was 22.5 miles per gallon ,not bad thanks have a good day.

I still think you should wrap the mirrors, A, B, C pillars & roof in red instead of painting the cap. There's a place does that where Super 7 meets the top of Federal road.

 

Meh... I looked into wrapping the cap in black, and it was an arm and a leg. Cheaper to just have it painted.
