Home sweet home!

Left OBX at 6am. Hit traffic getting on the Chessapeake Bay Bridge, then traffic getting on 295, then traffic crossing the GW Bridge. All in all probability "lost" an hour with that. Plus made a gas/bathroom stop about half way into the trip which "cost" me about 20 minutes. Got into Danbury at about 3:15 or so. Went to my parents house because they were watching my dog, and ate dinner there. Finally got to my house at around 7. Unpacked the truck, cleaned it up just a bit (going to vacuum the inside tomorrow because of the sand and crumbs), let the kids play outside for a bit, then came inside and started to put stuff away while they snacked. Now giving them a bath. And I still want to check my work emails so I don't waste time doing it tomorrow.

 

Velcome home. You know that sand will never all be out - right? LOL.
Why'd you take the GWB instead of coming further up to cross?

About the GWB... that's the way I've always come up, and never really ventured into other "crossings", so... I guess I need to venture out and try something different I guess.

 

Brought back an extra passenger from the trip.

Oldest fell in love with him at the store because two of his cousins got one while we were there. My son was a really good kid all week long, so figured I'd spoil him, and let him get the little guy.

He won't leave him alone. All he wants to do is keep checking on him, and take him out of the "cage". He named him "Twirly" because of his shell. LOL

 

Never been, mostly because I only hear bad things, about the Danbury Service Center.
The dealership was a hot mess when I went there - walked out & bought used off Craigslist.

 

Not Curry in Watertown. I had the TSB done for the squeaky clutch pedal and when I picked it up, there was grease on the fender/grill/interior, the hood release was disconnected, and the clutch pedal was grabbing at the top of its stroke. Also, when I ordered my truck, I specifically ordered a blue one. MGM was delivered and it was a take it or leave it deal.

 

I've heard good things in Enfield, Manchester sucks big-time! Only went to Manchester once though.

 

I bought the Taco in Milford and the F'n'J in We$tport.
Let's just say that We$tport services my trucks now.
No use to you guys since most are at the other end of the state.
