Well smart ass (sorry couldn’t help myself), I assume paying MORE then a silly base model civic I’d get similar technologies. I’m not too young to know what keys are, I’ve owned a few older then you probably lol

Plenty of fun keyed vehicles! Plus, the 1300b was fun running the PTO from the cab.

 

i get you're both busting chops, but I just have to say when I got my first remote fob vehicle, thought it was the best - particularly in the rain.
Now with a Prius w/ proximity key, walk up, pull handle. Lock is push little exterior button. Interior lights come on when I approach the vehicle.
Honestly - keys just seem primitive tech to me now. Maybe if I lived in a world where you can leave the key in the ignition, but I don't live there.
Digging out keys, using keys, keys hanging on your knee - just so much unnecessary bother. So yesterday. LOL

 

Eh... just buy it after your done leasing.

Alright fellow TW members, need some HELP, please.

Going to try and give as much info as possible so I can get some input/feedback, but definitely don't mind answering questions if need be in hopes of getting the input/feedback I need. Pardon the long post. Here goes.

Experiencing what I'm calling "shaking" at highway speeds. Seems to sometimes feel like it comes and goes though. Steering wheels "shakes", and truck also feels like it "shakes".

--> already got alignment checked more than once, and it's fine
--> already got wheels checked and balanced, and they're fine
--> started before having the PRO suspension installed, so not a "new" issue since it was done (put on back in April)
--> when I had the PRO suspension installed I also had the ECGS bearing put in
--> does/did it with both sets of wheels and tires I have (TRD Sport 17" wheels painted black w/Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V1 tires, Pro Comp Extreme 17" wheels that w/Firestone Destination LE2 tires)
--> currently have the PRO suspension with the HS progressive AAL in the back and left the overload leaf in, with a cap, but like I mentioned before it was already doing this before I had all of that put on

Dropping it off Monday morning at the service center of my local dealership, since it's right down the road from where I live, and taking the day off to get some stuff done outside while it's there. Looking for some input/feedback of what I should TELL them to check, in hopes of finding the issue and getting it fixed. Hoping all of the mechanically inclined peeps can give me some info so I don't go in there looking like a total idiot, and they don't try to screw me over. PLEASE!

Already have to check the driveshafts thanks to earlier info from @vssman.

Added U joints from feedback in the What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen thread, as well as carrier bearing.

 

You may want to ask @mach1man001 he might know or know someone.

 

But I would tell them everything that you just told us.

Just trying to put together a list of things people think may be the problem, so I don't just go by their "BS". That way I can sound like I know what I'm talking about (LOL), and they don't think I'm just an idiot and will believe anything they say.

 

You will tell all this to a service advisor who will put an abridged version into the computer which will print an abridged version in a small font on a service ticket.
1> try very hard to get service advisor to let you speak with actual service tech who will diagnose your truck. You need him to pick your mind.
2> Type it all out, print it out. When you get there tape it to the windscreen near the steering wheel (don't block view or the guy who moves cars will take it down & lay it face down on the passenger seat) & don't block odometer (or same happens when the driver goes to record mileage-in). At the bottom put your name & cell phone # saying to call you w/ questions. To diagnose this properly w/o going bankrupt paying for pointless searches - the tech needs to talk to you.
The service advisors job is to buffer & translate between you & tech. In this case you need to step around that filter.

Yup, thought about asking the guy if I could take the tech for a drive when I drop it off. Or asking to come scoop me up since I'm right up the road from them, whenever they decide to get to my truck, so we can go for a spin.

Tell the people at the dealership that you expect feedback during the search for your repairs.
If no calls or feedback is given then its out of your hands.
Tell them they can now Deal with your wife to solve the issues with your truck.

Thats a HA HA moment .
