Happy rainy Saturday man. I picked the perfect day to fix my squeaky rear leafs. I don’t have a garage, so thank god for family close by on a day like this. Everything seems all set, hoping to test it out at Pine ledge/Cockaponset tomorrow.

First mod ordered for the new Tacoma... bumper plugs. Dumping this hideous front bumper plate.

I wouldn’t be mad if it didn’t work either. Just an excuse to order the lift kit i want.

 

If you do a AAL it should also solve the problem.

Let's talk mild lifts... I'm talking something stupid simple, something that could fit a nice pair of rims and meaty tires and raise er on up 2inches maybe 4 at max without having to cut / shave / modify anything. Since it's a lease I've got to be able to take all the shit off when I return the vehicle in case I don't decide to buy it.

 

I think the most common choice is to Billies 5100 for the rear, and the 6100 for the front.

That's what I have on my 14 Sport, the old Pro Suspension basically.

 

Can I anticipate a lift w/ comfortable ride?

 

Mine rides pretty good, so I think so.

 

Does anyone here in CT do the headlight blackout and is really good at it? Looking to have them done same day if possible so I'm not without my truck for awhile... When I was in the Maxima world we would do them in about 2 hours tops.

Today I tried to fix my oven. Takes a little too long to light. Opened everything up &... fired right up. Repeatedly. Put it back together, fired right up. Then didn't... Grrr. Good luck Nuno. (Hey - heard your buddy's piloting the big rigs now!)

And yeah, he's finally made the switch to the big rigs. He's been waiting for a long time go over, and it's finally happened.

Not idea to do in a day. Just because of the offgassing of the paint, can leave some residue or fog in the lens if you don't let it cure long enough before closing and sealing. It can be done but is prefer to let the paint dry overnight

 

I mean, overnight would be okay really. I just find it hard for me to ship my lights to someone, have them gone for like a week or two.

 

I should have taken a photo when I left Lowe’s today. Loaded down with $700 in supplies! Burned through most of that already today.

Started the cedar closet, and finally got around to doing the whole house sediment filter for the well. Damn cedar and brass are expensive!

Tomorrow it’s on to a basement closet under the stairs. Which may result in a second trip to Lowe’s. More cedar and shelving. Easy come easy go

At least the taco always hauls like a champ

Getting ready to sell, trying to get the taco in the garage before first snow, or just feathering the nest?

 

The filter rig itself was actually pretty reasonable! Like $49 or so.

There’s always a project going here. It never ends! Currently I have my fireplace torn apart and about 6 other things that need finishing. It was a dump when I bought it so just trying to get the house up to current standards.
