I'd potentially be in. Been wanting to go up there for 10+ years but have just never made it.

I don't know anything about it really or the area but I've always been fascinated with the weather extremes there. What's it like in May or June? Still snow and ice up there I suspect.

I feel like it depends on the winter they get, really. We skied it in April and camped out in the lean-to at the base of tuckerman. The parking lot at the base was 50 degrees. As we hiked up to the base of tuckerman it was down to 25 and was dumping snow. Weather is the biggest variable imo. Looking at their website, the auto road seems to open sometime each may, but again weather permitting.

Well shoot you want to bring em up to CT from Virginia? And I'll get to wherever your staying. I'm free Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
If this is possible let me know when you're going through Virginia so we can coordinate with @fatfurious2

Haven't taken the Tacoma to the top of Mt Washington, But its just as much fun on my motorcycle, been to the top many times on the Moto Guzzi. Really runs great after you come down, NO CARBON left in the engine. 80 Deg at the bottom, 30 deg at the top with 25 mph winds.
Don't know what the temp was with the wind chill but I can say this . I had a lot more room in my crotch .
    Great ride/drive

Oh Cr`p! I did the T4T run last year & there was barely enough water to get mud on the sides of my stock 4x4 Taco. That's a lot more water, hardly recognize the trail.

Monday night the weathermen started talking with excitement about the accumulating snow coming Thursday. Figured that meant the "Bread & Milk" crowd would be buying up all the shovels, so today I bought 2 new shovels. Killed both of mine these last two winters. Now that I have new shovels we'll only get a dusting. :fingerscrossed:

Why not? Put some orange on them. Its pretty easy to identify a dog vs deer. Most hunting is at first light and dusk

I have heard too many dogs still being shot with orange on.
I don't want that to happen, better safe than sorry for my dog and the person with the gun.
