Oh I forgot about not having any storage in the new Ranger also....
Who makes a truck with no storage, my POS Civic has more storage, and a place for my phone!

 

I plan on taking the truck out tonight in the middle of it, want to see how the new Amber fog lights work.

 

1-3” here still. Probably won’t be anything. Hope not, my plow vehicle is down till spring!!!!

I really do think the people jumping on the Ranger bandwagon are either a) existing or prior owners of or fans of the previous Ranger(s), b) desperately hopeful that there will be a Raptor variant, or c) Ford fans. Given the other options, I can't fathom buying the Ranger...but this is all based on guesses coming from only having been in it once and obviously never having driven it. I do hope it turns out to be a good truck, since it'll make the competition better by having to keep up and move further forward, but I'm not expecting it to out-class the Taco or Colorado.

 

Personally, I think the new Ranger looks like a horrible clash between a Ranger and the shitty 4dr Explorer w/ a short bed they had.

 

I do know 1 thing....never buy the first year of any vehicle unless you like problems!

I haven't gone out, but it got bad up here quick. Wife keeps telling me about friends and friends of friends who are still stuck in traffic.

The first city plow of the season just went by.

 

2 recovery's on first snowfall! I'm going to start charging people, unless it's the elderly or in distress.

 

Better late than never. Push plates got repainted last week, and got mounted tonight. Also finishing up the wiring. Thank god for family members with garages. Wouldn’t fit all the way but makin due with this and I’m mighty happy.

 

Might take the subaru to work tomorrow, save the truck. Lol

 

We've got 3" here, snowing very heavily. We've taken about 10 crash reports and we've had numerous stuck vehicles. If you don't have to go out, don't...it's not worth it.

The worst part of it is - I've been at work since 0700 and all I've had was soup for lunch lol

 

Ha don't go out...that's like trying to keep my hands out of the cookie jar!

Morning everyone. Happy Friday at last.

Not sure how much we got, but it was A LOT, that's for sure. Waiting to see if the wife has a school delay, if daycare is opening on time or not, and my job as well.

Chances are school delay, no delayed opening for daycare, and same for my job. But we'll see.

 

Looks like a 3 hour delay for the wife. This year they are doing both a 2 and a 3 hour delay. The 3 hour one is new. It's because of last year... they think that in a lot of cases if they had waited a bit longer and done 3 instead of 2, they would have had been able to to have school, and cutting back on so many make up days at the end.
