We took off the "new" bed, took off the old bed, cleaned up the frame with some paint & some Fluid Film, mounted the new bed, mounted the old bed for transport & done. Old bed will go on a military trailer frame I have. Cap will go with it & the RTT to be my towable RV.

Thank you all who could participate, thank you all who could only wish us well - it helped.

...and lesson learned - DO NOT POR-15 the threads, because then the bolts don't fit! LOL. Oops.

    old bed was so done!

Glad we were able to get that bed taken care of. Also really happy I was able to put some faces to some names for those I never met, and see rich again.

Lesson learned on tools: 6 pt always beats a 12 pt socket, especially in the rust belt.

Yes I hate 12 pt! I've stripped so many nuts and bolts heads, I don't know why they even exist.

Looks like you had some fun! Would’ve liked to have come over but sick people at home, and had to help my buddy out in his tire place. Hopefully soon I can make a meet up. And if people are looking for tires hit me up, might be able to get some deals for people.

Definitely good to put faces to the names.

Hadn't met Mike or George, so that was good. Tom and Rich I had already met before.

    You know….
on sister site Tundras.com they give away the stickers, so I now have one to mount. Here they cost. ??? I'm not one to pay for the right to advertise someone else's product.
