At work 1, my group is up to 4 p/t people. I got in this morning & 1 had already left. 2nd bolted soon as I got there. She had left earlier, but can't drive in the snow - so she came back & waited for Mommy to come get her. KIDS! 3rd co-worker doesn't drive & Mom came in at noon & said we're leaving, hurry up. So it was just me in the warehouse. Nice! At about 1:30 I thought to check my phones. OOps. The 1st coworker to have left had texted me to know if I was there, FedEx wanted to know if he should deliver. Well he'd already been so...
My other missed call was from the CEO. OOPS. Went up stairs.... WTF?
Everyone was gone. In the entire building. Absolutely everyone was gone, she called as she realized they'd forgotten to tell me the company closed at 1:00. So wait - I'm here, alone? No one to bother me in any way at all?
So, some happy dancing & then I got to working. Just me & snain out the window & the yule log burning on my computer.
USPS & UPS were kind enough to both show up at 3:15, so I could wrap up early & head off to … well work #2.
But at-work-alone was pretty nice.

Had mass plates, individual with a grey beard.

You were at the Starbucks in Enfield, Connecticut - who was it!? Very good looking truck, was dumb jealous for sure lol I was getting into the Cement double cab.

 

Roads were OK this morning getting in to work.

I did get stuck at the top of my driveway for a bit, because I was trying to make it up in 2wd. Got stuck, stopped, popped it into 4wd, and off I went.

Main roads were mostly just wet, but a bit of slush in the middle/between lanes. Side roads had a bit of slush, but mainly wet. Made it just fine.

 

I didn't go anywhere, snowblower usage time.

Went of the Dealer's today to pick up some oil filters ,my local dealer Middletown Toyota had a coupon for filters so I went there to load up, on the way out I took a look at a new Tacoma off-road Pro in blue ,absolutely a gorgeous truck stickered before taxes was $44,000 plus plus plus ,out of my league but it's a real nice truck ,happened to be in a blue color I didn't get the name of the color but it was a pretty blue similar to the blue color Ford uses in their logo
