ya I'm gonna have to order one as well cause I really like em. Also after our meet I've come to the realization that I need to get my Windows tinted cause I was the only one that didn't have em tinted. Help me out fellas what percentage do y'all have yours tinted to

 

LOL. My front are done to match the back as much as possible, so it's about 20%.

I went with 35% on the fronts

 

Ok cool and at 20% have you had any trouble with the boy's pulling you over for it, my buddy a while back maybe like 08-09 he picked up a bad ass EVO that had tints on it when he bought it from a dealer and he got pulled over because of the tints and got a rather large ticket for the tints and his exhaust and it totalled like 750.00

Have you guys ever noticed a harder downshift when breaking going down a hill. Like the taco will gear down when I apply the break slightly and when I gas it it will wanna jump when shifting up?

 

Yessir. Feel it everyday on my way to work since I have to go down a steep hill, and I usually let it coast and then tap the brakes.

 

You feel the engine doing the braking going down?

 

Yup... definitely feels like the engine is braking and/or downshifting. Hope that made sense.

 

35% is the darkest you can legally go in CT. Since the factory glass is not completely transparent, technically adding 35% film is still illegal but it's light enough where I feel like I won't be hassled since you can still see in.

 

BTW you probably already know this but a higher percentage means a lighter tint so 20% is darker than 35%. I think the factory glass is around 70-80%

 

ya that's what I thought as well lower number darker tint

He'll ya they look outstanding excellent job @dcorbalis can't wait for the next one.. So I was thinking we should try and do at least one a month maybe what are yalls thoughts on this

 

We'll have to figure it out. But definitely need to it more than once a year, that's for sure.
