Not really. Electrical is second nature to me.
First thing I did was to remove everything so I could start fresh.

Not much in the way of trails in CT. Really just a few dirt roads through parks, that's about it unfortunately...

Hey all, been a while, work and kids lacrosse is killing all my time!! Lol. I do have a question though. I’m trying to find a lift for my ‘14 dcsb. Any suggestions, and is a spacer lift really that bad? I was looking at ready lift 3/2, and Rev tech lifts. Also I like the Bilstein 5100’s. I’m not into a ton of cash, just want some more height, maybe a 33” equivalent or the 285-70-16. Won’t do any real four wheeling. Any suggestions? The other boards I look at are all over the place on information, and people Are pains in the ass. Lol. Thanks guys.

Bilstein! It's a real lift that works good and is cheap.
If you switch to 33s you should fit a friend's on first to see if and what you need to cut if anything.
Spacer lifts are not bad as long as your not off-roading. If you plan to off-road do not put those on, it may cause problems later.

So this is pretty good then? It’s like $750. Might be able to get it cheaper through my buddy.

Perfect, it's what most Tacoma people use when they want to lift.
You can wheel with that also if you get the urge to and will handle rather well.
Just watch your weight with it, if you plan on putting armour on it's going to become squishy.

I rock crawling with mine and I'm using Bilstein 5125s on my rear and have had no issues.

If you do go this way make sure you cut the boot off the rear or the salt will kill them on account u can't clean them off!
Someone hinted this to me and I cut them off and found a whole bunch of dirt and crap in them after only 3 months of use.

I'm not sure if 33s will need new UCAs or not.
I can talk to some people.
I have a feeling that 33s skinny won't but wide will.

Unfortunately, CT is off road unfriendly. Driving on any trails in the state forest will get you a fine. While you in Litchfield County, go for a tour at the Litchfield Distillary. Their Vanilla Bourbon is very good.

I live in the city so.... but I could put a pool in my garage, then it'd be okay. :)
Found a free 'on ground" long pool on C'list, but it's 9' longer than my garage!
Great for laps, but if you can't swim naked in your own pool what's the point? :anonymous:

Changed all drain plugs to Dimple Magnetic plugs UNI filter on air pump
Washed the truck ,cleaned the frame for the Fluid Film meet up this Sunday.
From what I could see NO RUSTY SPOTS.
Granted I dont off road ,and I dont have to drive in the winter so that contributes to little to no rust.
In my case surfandturf does an excellant job doing the application so credit goes to Matt, and for me it great value for $$$$.
