Morning everyone. Happy hump day.

Both of my kids are in a play tonight, at the school my wife teaches at, even though the kids don't go to school there.

The lady that runs it asked my wife if the kids could be in it, and she said yes as long as they wanted to. They both did, have been going to the rehearsals once a week for the past month, and even did the in school play yesterday for the school only. Tonight and tomorrow is for the public. Wife said they did really well yesterday. Psyched about going to watch part of tonight, and tomorrow again.

Part only of tonight, because I have to go to a meeting at the school my oldest will be going to for kindergarten tonight...

Morning all. Since there are no malls in my area, I had to improvise at the soccer field.

 

School has become WAY too complicated in modern times. Seriously, pre-meeting for kindergarten 4 months in advance?
Post a prep list online at the schools website & see you in Sept. Sheesh!

I parked like that at a campground once in MA, the Warden came around and told me to get off his grass!
I laughed and moved it...later I watched my dog take a crap in the same spot I was in and kick grass all over when he finished.
I laughed again until my wife told me to pickup the poop, then she laughed!

 

CT has gotten out of control...I have to write a letter to the principal of my kid's school taking him out of some of the sex ed classes for his 5TH GRADE CLASS...You should see the list of topics they're "teaching" 10 year olds...

 

100%! I had to do the same for both my girls and my oldest is now 18 so this isn't new. I'm still like WTF is wrong with this...

 

Whenever I see or hear peeps talk about their older kids and the "problems", I shit my pants a bit more each time.

So not looking forward to "bigger problems"...

 

Meeting up with somebody today who might buy it (hopefully), if not I'll let you know and we can get in contact with him

 

Yeah, I'm so tempted to home school...If I could only earn a living wage from home...

By the way, "friends" today SUCK. I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to tell my kid "Just lay the kid out. That's how we USED to solve problems." And you know what, that created a natural pecking order, which in turn created a self policing society with the stronger on top, keeping order (Yes, with the few rare exceptions, I know). The natural state of order has been flipped on it's head now.

HOLY SHIT! I totally agree with you on everything.

Today's kids are "weird".

 

Took the Taco in for an emissions check.(another way for the state to empty your pockets$20.00).
Passed with with flying colors ,good for two years.
