    Got the Taco inspected the other day. Watching him back it in realized my third brake light was out.
    But the inspector didn't. :thumbsup:
    Passed w/ no issues.
    Got home, pulled a spare CHMSL I have, swapped the 3 bulbs into the Taco & it works. That means 3 bulbs burned out & I missed it each time. Bad Taco owner! :(

    Reminds me - that CHMSL needs to go into my cap on the Taco Trailer.

    Yessir. The in-laws was the main reason why I said yes to doing my friend's lawn every week - they are not too far from each other, so figured I would do my friend's and then go to my in-laws. My friend lives on Jackson St, in-laws on Stadley Rough. Just a minute or two truck ride from each other.

    Check the Facebook marketplace. Facebook is a crap platform, but I will say the marketplace is FULL of useful stuff, including a cap I inquired about that happened to be off of a short bed 2nd gen. I'll see if I can find the link... Whole truck is for sale, but you might be able to snag just the cap... Softopper A steal - just paint it.

    Funny stupid humans story.
    Registration renewal due July 5th. Going to be short on time to deal w/ that then, so when I had a suddenly free hour on Friday I took the truck in for it's bi-annual emissions inspection. You need emissions inspection done when you renew registration in these parts.
    Well - I forgot the Taco failed emissions when I first got it (known issue @ purchase). D'oh -- my inspection wasn't due until August & having inspected a week early I've now reset my inspection date w/ the state 1 week before registration. Money thrown away & GTD I will forget in 2 years to go in early which will result in a late inspection fee of $40 on top of it all - because CT likes to punish a good deed.
