I finally got my peasant 2/1.5 spacers and block lift in. What an agonizing 6 hours. Not too bad for my first time working on a truck. I think I can do it in under 4 hours next time lol.

Nice cars; well done. Any issues with the bag system in cold weather? I’m assuming you weren’t daily driving these through the winter. Also what brand system did you run? I would like to do this in the next year or two to a commuter car.

I would never recommend daily driving a bagged car. That's just a ticking time bomb. Although I have daily driven these two for over 10k miles/year before and even taken them on 250 miles road trip...

I can't comment on cold weather because I lived in Texas when I had these two cars (moved to CT 6 months ago). The coldest it ever got there was 28 degrees lol. These two systems worked just fine in that weather. I didn't have any problem airing up or losing PSI when I was driving.

I used airlift 3P in both of these cars. I like them a lot because they have PSI monitors on all 4 corners and it's built into the manifold so you don't have to do an external monitoring system like Accuair.

If you're going to daily a bagged car then I would really recommend spending a good amount of money on fittings, airlines, and water traps. Not the stuff that comes with the bags itself or no name brand. Go to a store that sells maintenance equipments for 18 wheelers. It's worth it. Cheap fittings will always leak no matter the design and they're made out of really soft materials. The fittings I used cost 4 times as much but my car only lost 2-3 PSI per corner for the entire 250 miles drive.

Good information, I appreciate that. I should have mentioned I would keep a second car so it wouldn’t be my only mode of transportation; bad weather, storms, etc would be left to the 4Runner.
I figured this would be a good chunk of money haha.
I’ll bookmark this so I can come back to it when I’m ready. Thanks again.

Hope everyone is having a great Saturday, it’s beautiful out. Had a chance to get all my yard work done early this morning, and took the pups down the street to the river. Then a trip to Home Depot to grab materials to wrap up a couple projects going on at the house. Been a productive day so far.

I guess the saying is true once you own a Tacoma and join TW you do go broke!
Just bought my new tires and rims and installing lift soon after vaca. It’s going to be a very expensive summer! Thank goodness the wife really loves me unconditionally!

Morning everyone. Already played soccer, filled up the truck, went to the in-laws to feed the fish, and about to sell my old weedwacker and make $150.

Naw... That $150 is going towards paying for the new weedwacker that I bought, and doesn't even cover it.

Sold my weedwacker today, and tomorrow I might be selling my brush cutter. Listed it on Facebook and Craigslist, and someone contacted me on the Craigslist add and coming to look at it tomorrow. :fingerscrossed:
