    Morning everyone. Happy Sunday.

    Oldest came down with strep, again. Poor kid just can't catch a break. And the ENT won't take out his tonsils because he hasn't had it enough times yet to warrant it. FML.

    He's on antibiotics already, had his first dose last night. No fever anymore as of right now, so we're going apple picking because that was the plan originally, and he wants to go.

    I really get annoyed at these dr’s for that nonsense! That should be the parents decision not theirs. My oldest had her out 8-9 years ago by our choice and hasn’t had throat related sickness since. My youngest gets sick a lot and I was told the same bs. They need to get sick like 5-6 times before they will consider removing them. Total bs. As far as I’m concerned it’s just them trying to insure more fn income. They KNOW the sickness rate goes down once they are removed. Fuckers!

    They used to just yank them out routinely as they did nothing. This is just the swing in the other direction, conservative. Now they know they are part of the immune system & the insurance co. paying for the surgery has to set some sort of a threshold standard. I'm sure if you want to pay out of pocket the Dr. will do it today.

    CT sucks. Left there in 1990 and never looked back. Lower taxes and better climate in the south. Don't understand how anyone would want to stay there.

    ...Say, anyone skilled at building a parking pad? Anyone want two scrappy Rhododendron?
    I need to build a parking pad for the RV next to the garage, it's bottling up access to my trucks which is unacceptable. :eek:
