We got 4~5” of snow just over the NY line. And it’s still coming down.

 

Kiddos wanted to go outside for a bit, so we did at around 4:30 or so.

Already had quite a bit down, but it was all powder, even dust like. Very light snow. None of the heavy wet crap.

 

well I went out & shoveled the light powder. 1.5 hours & looked like I'd not done it when I was done. But if it does turn to rain, less will be less heavy.

Snow stopped for real. went back out. another 1.5 hours with the shovel, snow brush & a broom.
Done. Absolutely, completely, totally done. All pavement, all vehicles, all steps. Sidewalk shoveled & swept. D-O-N-E, Done!

Strong sun tomorrow & it will never have happened.

Already cleared out my drive way, cleared the entrance to my neighbor's because his father in law was out there clearing it with a shovel and the snow is pretty heavy, and cleared the guy's across the street since he's still trying to sell his house and asked me to do it.

Gotta figure out how much to charge the guy across the street, for doing it.

 

Evening everyone. Been submerged in the wiring schematics for the JBL wiring. I think I have my spreadsheet pretty accurate to start the JBL gut.

if my spreadsheet is 100% correct I have every in/out, +/-, left/right to the amp noted.

I knew I was prolly going to open a can of worms upgrading to the kicker speakers that are 4ohms.

very noticeable bass increase while overall miss and highs dropped. So now I have more bass than voice lol.

So I’ve located a harness that allows you to bypass the junk amp which is where I’m going to start since that’s the most complicated piece prior to a new HU.

I’m very interested in Pioneers new floating screen line they announced at CES. Only problem I can’t find a release date so I may say f it and get their current flagship. Avic-w8599nex is my current pick.

I will figure out what sub I’m going to run after the difficult crap is done. I’d like to reuse the factory box if possible but that will be a trial and error thing.
