    Got the truck out in the woods for the first time. The lady and I cruised around Cockaponset for a bit this afternoon. Found a couple of muddy spots and although it wasn’t much, it felt good to give the truck a little workout. I did use 4hi a couple times, and I’m sufficiently pleased with how comfortable and competent it feels off road.

    Indeed. On Wednesday, I acquired a new baby goat. On Thursday, I acquired a new puppy. THEN, yesterday afternoon, one of my goats decided to give birth to triplets. One of which we were not sure would make it. So we nursed her to the point that she can stand on her own. She MIGHT go into the goat pen with the mother today...Been an exciting week! Now if my other preggers goat will hold off a week or so, that would be appreciated...

    Well this is a rebirth challenge....

    I knew the muffler on the Taco was not long for this world. Well the back end has blown out . Go online shopping & best price I'm finding is ~ $440 from Curry Toyota up in Watertown. They want an estimated $220 for shipping. I can drive to pick it up, I'll pay myself $220/hour. BUT, they're 'temporarily closed'. Grrr. and they list the gasket between it & the Cat., but not the hardware.
    Guess I'll try to see my local dealer during the week. Maybe they're open, maybe they'll price match.

    Anyone (CTish) have a stock 1st gen, regular cab, muffler/tailpipe sitting gathering dust?

    Good luck, I did the cat on mine a few months ago, dealer used aftermarket because oem was like 1500 vs 3-400 aftermarket for the same piece.

    might want to look outside the dealers for this one... I usually go oem only for repairs but with a muffler...:rolleyes:

    And in other sad news... Brookfield lost 2 people to the bullshit so far, and we have 90 confirmed cases. FAK. :annoyed:
