    Spending all of this time at home made me notice that my water softener might be on the way out...

    It was already here when we bought the house, which was 10 years ago, so who knows how much longer before that it's been here. Seems like it stopped doing the auto-regen thing, and just about every week when it's probably supposed to do it, a warning light comes and and beeps. FML.

    Did the Dr. discuss giving him a double dose of Doxy? I don't recall his exact age but nearish 8?
    They gave me a double dose when I had one removed on Monday - but I've been 8 a whole lot of times now....

    • Early disease responds well to Lyme disease prophylaxis doxycycline. Other antibiotics for tick bites are amoxicillin and cefotaximine if the patient does not respond to doxyycline.
    Doxycycline dosage for tick bite fever
    Typical dosage for Doxycycline is 100 mg twice per day. This medicine is contraindicated for pregnant and nursing mothers. It is also not recommended for children below 8 years of age. For children older than 8 years, give 4mg/kg/day in divided doses.

    No talk about giving him anything yet. They just said to keep an eye on where the tick was, check for rash or the ring, and flu like symptoms. He's only 5, gonna be 6 next month.

    When I log in and I check Stay logged in, I have to log in again after viewing the days posts, I don't log out I just close my current session.

    Specifictly when I go to Technical Chat and 2ND generation Dates xxxx-xxxx
