    Last year I took my Labradoodle out on a Saturday afternoon on some land that my club stocks. We came across a carcass that a hawk had picked clean and she took a good long snif. She knew, by instinct, she was to do something but not really sure what it was. I had her tied to me on a long line because she is a runner. She flushed one out (mainly by accident) and I let a shot off with my single barrel 20 ga. The line snapped tight like a guitar string - she had enough after that. Missed the bird too. I need much more practice on the birds. Hopefully Santa will bring me a clay thrower...

    I think Wolcott and Bristol have days that are open to the public. Not sure about Seymour, but I'd be game when it's a little warmer out.
