Back surgery sucks, hope you feel better soon!

They did a shave job on my L5 disc as it was crushing my nerve on my right leg since June causing extreme pain and numbness.
Pain in leg is gone and numbness is starting to drop. That'll take time.
Back hurts where they cut me, but that is expected. Like getting hit with a bat. They gave me go-go pills, but I won't take them.
Remarkable shit, this modern medicine. When I woke up in the hospital, I told the nurse I had to piss. She told me I have 2 legs, so walk over to the bathroom and go.That was an hour after surgery.

 

Sure does. I've had several surgeries in the past for busted up and torn body parts, but this back stuff stressed me out more. Too many things can go wrong fast.

 

LOL!!!!!! Glad you're feeling OK though. Take it easy and heal up.

 

That's the plan. Taking it easy and healing up till I see doc end of Jan. I get the stitches or whatever taken out next Friday. Maybe I'll be able to drive at that point.
I can be a post whore on TW in my down time!

 

Best part is I've been sleeping uninterrupted since Tuesday. That hasn't happened since June.

My best friend lives about a mile from me, so he'll pick me up on Christmas so I can hang out with his family that's coming in. At least i won't be land locked.

 

Nice! No fun being stuck home for the holidays.

Feeler: leather interior for your taco $1k installed

Last winter I installed my OEM leather. I'm looking to see if anyone else is interested in getting this done. Time and materials would cost $1k. Price is for access our double cab.

Let me know if you are interested and I'll get you a lead time on materials/ color options. You would drop off your truck for the weekend. I would remove each seat and bring it into my heated basement to do the work. This requires me to fully remove original fabric and hog ring the new material on. Your original material will be returned to you.

This would give me a fun project and you leather interior at less than half the cost from Toyota

I think if I'd do it, I'd probably go black... trying to black it all out. My floor carpet is black, so I think I'd go with that. Something to consider.

Saw in the NE BS thread that someone asked you about heated seats, if you'd put that in, and you said as long as they got you the kit you would. Correct?

 

Correct, the heated pads are available easy addition with the fabric off

 

Hmmmm nice to see someone local doing this! I'll have to consider it within the next couple of years. Wanna see how this cloth handles, and especially with a new truck don't want to change too much, still doesn't even have 4K miles on it
