ohh ya @Cativelense I didn't like the holes that came in my bull bar for adding lights so I made my own and I was able to run all the wires through it so it looks nice and clean as well. I just thought about it and I'm gonna have to move it to like behind the grill when I get my bumpers in

 

Did you get a switch and wired it to it, inside the truck?

 

Yessir it was like 16 bucks for an LED switch and I mounted it by the cigarette lighter there's 2 blanks right next to it perfect spot for em

 

Cool. I think I'd probably put it next to my fog light switch if and when I do it.

 

That was thee other spot I was gonna put em but I decided on the other spot instead. DOOO IT YOU WONT REGRET IT

I think i ordered a 24 inch bar. mine had adjustable brackets so i could line them up with the hole in the bull bar.

 

Gotcha. Gotta look into it a bit more and measure the opening so I can buy one.

Hopefully everyone had a great Christmas and is off today as observance of the holiday.

As a gift to myself, yesterday I put my name in for a set of retros that a member on here makes, rather than buying from a company. Pricing was less than the company.

Had picked up a set of donor lights, and was going to send my stock ones to them to make, but haven't had a chance/time to do the swap, so gave up and just going to buy a complete set.

Now I'll be putting up the donor set for sale, to make money to help pay for the new set I'm buying. And then when the retros come in will sell my stock ones as well.

 

Been wanted to do this for awhile. Think I might just go with he BHLM though.

 

Thought about that but just don't feel comfortable doing it. Plus with the retros I think the light output would be better, which is part of the reason I want to go that route.

 

Hey that's awesome I want a set of retros tooo but I mean 4digits for headlights my goodness I believe I would need to have my head examined hahaha so I'm thinking of maybe trying it myself, the parts by themselves aren't to bad. Who is building yours and what are they gonna run you? If I decide to build my own a may be interested in the donor set

 

My donor set wouldn't fit on your year because of the different headlight style. Going to be a about $600, and hyper15125 is making them once he starts building again. He's "out of commission" for a bit because he's having a medical procedure done.
