You might be able to find somebody in the "stock rigs" thread and maybe you will find someone interested in non-offroad tires for normal use. Especially just normal daily use people. Other than that you might be able to get rid of them in the "northeast craigslist finds" thread also. That might work too.

But like they said, get up to 50 comments before you even try suggesting them. You don't want to get a 30-day ban when you just got here lol.

Gorgeous trout tonight on the Farmington River during the sunset hatch. It was so nice out tonight, I didn't want to leave.

I don't go offroad for instance, so there's someone out there who would..or other vehicles like a SUV would use them. Might not be a huge price tag but it's someting.

Exactly, especially the last part. But flap your yap here for a day or 2 and you'll hit 50 standing on your skull

    Morning everyone.

    Happy Friday eve.

Picked up some white lithium grease cans yesterday so I can spray my squeaky AAL pack. The squeaking really bothers me since we get to drive around with the windows down now.

I got deavers on mine and they are supposed to be silent....already squeakin'. Not sure if I'm just gonna be a squeaky bastard or spend the time and grease them a few times a year.

Tried Luis Auto in Danbury. Will see how he did. Called by 5 pm to say it's done. going to see this am.

It's near "The Low Bridge" in Danbury. I went under the low bridge to drop it off, had to run over chunks of truck roof as I drove around the fresh kill - a truck had just peeled off it's roof on that bridge, I had to drive around & over him - cops hadn't even arrived yet. Fresh.
That's a sucky way to start your day, ripping the roof off your delivery truck. Hope the guy didn't get fired, he'll never do that again.

Luis just called me. I gave a list of 3 things - muffler, tow hitch, check oil leak. Truck has just started to show a random drop of oil under it. When they called yesterday & said all done I asked about the oil, "something simple"? Caller was unsure & asked me to call back in 5, but I said I'll just check tomorrow when I pick it up. They just called me now. Oil leak is rotted oil pan, going to be $600/$700 for new one installed. So they forgot one item discussed/written down. Truck is on the lift, going to put it back together. That would have been annoying if I had walked there to pick it up & it was on a lift in bits. Lucky i'm running slow today.

Well see how well sealed the muffler is or if it leaks, how scratched up the hitch got being installed. And I need to find a used oil pan now - or if I'm lucky it's a little pinhole that can be patched. Sigh. Always something, when you only put 1,000 miles on it a year. :-(

Jeeze man, $6-700? I thought most oil pans need a few bolts and some RTV... And Google is showing me oil pans for like $50!

What muffler did you go with?

What’s up y’all! Just got back in state after spending 5 years in Texas (hopefully going back soon) are trails still non-existent up here?

Just want to vent for a sec, my 265/75 16s just got delivered today and my Jeep coworker of course had something to say. It started with him telling me that for the $600 I paid for 4 tires and puncture warranties from DTT, I could have bought 15" steelies and 33" tires mounted for the same price. I told him 2 things, one that I don't think I can find wheels and tires, especially 33s, for $600 and that this is the biggest I could go on stock suspension without rubbing. He replied to use spacers. I told him it can rub on the cab mount and I don't want to do a CMC just yet, and he said spacers will clear that too. I don't think he has ever been in a Tacoma, let alone worked on one

I got the API muffler off parts geek. Have to say, I like the sound & the truck feels right. I've put on Walker mufflers at times in the past & they always felt like they were choking the motor, this API one doesn't.
    https://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/2002/toyota/tacoma/exhaust/muffler.html

That quote was using Toyota parts (pan, gasket,... oil change..). he said the job runs about 6 hours as he has to drop the front... I think it was the front transfer case, has to drop to get the pan in.

I've got to mull on that.
Anyone, @Empty_Lord does 6 hours to change the oil pan sound right on a 2002 2.7L 4x4 Tacoma?
