    Good morning all.
First - `HAPPY BIRTHDAY RICHARD' (I said that with a French accent BTW (no idea why)).

2nd. yesterday was my 10 year anniversary at my primary job. I've now qualified for anything retirement benefits of value I'm going to get there. So technically I can now retire from there. Going forward it's all gravy, just a paycheck & insurance. Hopefully that will make the place more enjoyable. I should go get a new job someplace else to start earning towards a retirement package, but that sounds like work. Enjoy the gravy for a little while... Although, Amazon is hiring for a new facility in town..... Hmm.

    Happy Birthday @Skierrichy

It is kinda like what Modding is all about with a few differences...

With Modding....We take off perfectly good parts, and replace them with more expensive parts

So I found mention of some power line trails on a Jeep forum from years ago. Decided to see if they were still accessible yesterday and drove over there with my girlfriend yesterday. We were able to get onto them and they were cooler than I expected. At the very least, it look 4lo to get up some steep hills covered in shale. We came across a way into the woods but there was a bit of mud and we weren't taking any risks getting stuck out there.

We climbed to the top of a hill and my stomach dropped for a second when there were 2 people at the top. Fortunately it was 2 young guys on dirt bikes. I probably scared them too because I was wearing a white button up shirt with my company logo on it, though my truck is obviously not a power company truck. I asked them if people come out here often and, stroking my ego, one of them says "Nah, just us, ATVs, and sick Tacomas".

The trails were pretty well worn and the mud had tire tracks through it, so we obviously were not the first people out there. Plus if these guys on loud dirt bikes don't get bothered, I don't think I will either. There were also chairs, blankets, and a fucking grill up there.

Next time I go I will be bringing some trash bags and collecting trash, there were unfortunately beer cans, boxes, etc around. Undoubtedly teenagers. I figured cleaning up would A. make it look nicer and B. possibly buy us some goodwill if anyone ever says anything.

Shoot me a PM if anyone wants details

So a guy came into the gun shop Sunday and I noticed he had a tricked out Heep XJ. We got to talking and I asked him if he knew about any good off road areas near us. He listed off some names, anyone familiar with any of these places ?

    1. Ma Bell, Easthampton Ma. Sylvester Rd.
    2. Harris Mountain, Ma.
    3. Field and Forest, Ma.
    4. Race Point Beach, Ma.
