    Morning folks. It's a beautiful Friday out there.

    Detailed our Odyssey yesterday. Whoever says it's a small world never waxed a minivan. That roof goes on forever.

    Happy Friday all.
    Got my C19 shot at the mall.
    It all went quickly +
    But some screwups. They didn't make the follow up appt., the shot lady insisted she needed a piece of paper that didn't exist, which eventually she didn't need after all. I had pretty immediate & strong reactions to the shot & the watchers weren't really anywhere close. I would have had to lay on the horn to get help if I decided I wanted it & if I'd passed out I'da been hsit out of luck unless the car next to me noticed. --

    A lot of people have no reaction to the shot, or a little swelling at the injection site. I had racing heart, headache & cramping within 1 minute. Full on flu for two days, hot & cold flashes, (chattering teeth to sweats). Body is starting to calm down finally this a.m.

    I'd do it again, I will go for my 2nd shot. But lesson learned, I'll try to have someone with me for #2. I want to be watched better than they do at the mall. I want rescue to get to me before I code. :eek:

    fun fact - Hybrid for the win. There's a bunch of stop here & a bunch of creep & stop. Ideal situation for a hybrid.

    I'm so old that I remember (as a VERY young child) the construction of RT 8 between Waterbury and Torrington and 84 through Hartford and parts east. My Dad and I were coming back at night from a game at Fenway Park and the noise and lighting of late night construction was very impressive to a 4 or 5 y.o. me. Far more so than the baseball game.

    I'm ready for 18" of snow next week!
    It's too hot already:bananadead::annoyed:
    Did some spring cleanup outside and I had my shirt off after the first 15 minutes.

    Let's get back to 20 degrees so everyone stays inside, isn't there a plague going on anyway?

    At least I got a few days in with near zero temps this year.
    Only person outside having fun in it like usual though.
