It's all good till you use an old paper towel that's been floating around the cab to wipe off the accumulated road dust .

Then you have a scratched up Tac Visor. :bananadead:

Alright CT crew, I have a very, crucially, extremely important question.

What deli has the best bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich in the state?

Have a few days off coming up. Need a good destination for a morning cruise. Country Cow is supposed to be fantastic. Where else???

I'll be the heretic and go with the pastrami, egg, and cheese at the Vanilla Bean in Pomfret.

Not that I don't love bacon. I saw a food section story with the title: Leftover Bacon Recipes

    Leftover bacon?
    What is that?
Is that some new kind they starting selling?

    @Roody

Try Golds Deli in Westport Ct.

Rt1 going east from downtown Westport, on the left in a small strip mall as you start up a small hill.

I haven't been there in some time but is also Kosher type deli so its going to be good, you can do a Google search

Noted, and will give it a shot. Just about as far from Stamford as is possible within the state, but happy to take the drive for a good sandwich. Also, leftover bacon? Unfamiliar with the matter.

Good and close to me, will give it a shot! Good reviews, too.

Yes the Vanilla Bean is great , when people go the first time the extra large playing cards catch then by surprise .

Oh the food is great also.

I get up to the bean a couple times a year on the motorcycle . Good times

found a shingle in the yard. Roofers keep telling me 'not yet', but this is shingle #2 in 6 months. I think this year is 'yet'.

100% agree. Not worth the PIA a leaky roof can cause. Get some lifetime shingles and leave the worries to the next owner.

I would love to have just one day when they say it is going to be windy and not worry about losing another freaking tree in my yard or blocking my driveway or street, or be under the threat of losing power.....again.

Did my brake pads yesterday. Passenger side caliper was clearly old than the driver side. Huge pain, 2 of the pistons won't retract all the way. The pads fit but are stupid tight, and now I think I warped a rotor from the pads dragging, because I have a massive pulsing in my pedal now.

Going to replace the caliper and both rotors tonight. Thank goodness I have an extra hour of sunlight at least
