I will probably try to find OEM LCA for a good price. Is it worth looking at replacing the aged UCA also or just worry about the bushings? Im not necessarily talking upgraded UCA for performance ones that cost $500 lol. This is already costing me enough as it is lol.

Are you lifted? If so, it will be harder to get the alignment in specs. When I ordered the lift I ordered it with the upper control arms.

No lift, I'm getting ready to install a new set of 6112 shocks. I'm setting them on the first clip, because the wife and I actually want a comfy ride. Everything that I see it the shock tower itself is .5" taller, so not really a lift lol.

Right now I've got the list of parts getting ready to change out:
    -6112 shocks
    -top plate spacers from wheeler's

-Ball joints/control arm bushings (not sure on new oem control arms or not)

-Stainless steel brake lines from wheeler's (have the shop perform brake flush and install new lines)

-I think I need new cam bolts, shop said driver side was seized up when I went for last alignment.

-Probably install new tie rod ends because I'm sure them is some play in them at 135k miles

Anything else to add let me know. It's getting kinda long, but I'm increasing the life of our Taco. That's Instead of blowing the stimulus check on something like building a new gaming PC lol.

I do kinda need a new pair of fishing waders though...
    Thanks all

Curious, roughly what would you be dropping on a gaming rig?

Right now it isn't worth building your own pc. You are best off getting a prebuilt system from cyberpower, ibuypower, new egg,and so on. The cost of GPU are through the roof and processors are going to follow that path also. But you can buy pretty damn good build for $1600+ . I build my gaming PCs to last 8+ years in power level. I only like to upgrade parts as needed instead of want.

My current PC was originally built 9 years ago and is still more than powerful enough to still run all titles now. The only original parts on it are the motherboard and cpu. The rest has all been upgraded over time.
    I7-2600k overclocked to 4.4
    EVGA 1060ssc clocked
    16mb 3200mhz ram clocked
    500gb ssd main HDD
    1tb ssd game HDD
    3x asus 24" gaming monitors
    Accessories and so on

Original build cost about $2300 and ive spent $400 over 2 years upgrading the hard drives and video card. There is nothing else that I can upgrade on my PC since it is maxed out everywhere lol. My only choice is to buy a new one, but it's just not worth it.

If you have something that is powerful enough to stay with for now then save your money till at least end of the year or buy a good prebuilt $2000+

What were they trying to accomplish by hammering on the spacer?

I can get the rookie with 1 hit, but you seriously can't tell that your damaging a critical component?
I'm curious what is going to happen at this point....
I just can't believe the stupidity that has happened.
Was this person high, drunk, pcp?
I have taken them on and off 3 times and yes they are seized on, which I am happy about on account of wheel spacers can ruin your day if they come undone.
But I have a dead blow, plastic hammer, even a block of wood?
Why oh why would you keep wailing on it like that?

Gotcha gotcha. I have one presently that I inherited from a close friend who recently passed. He built it all in the past 12-18 months off my head..beautiful machine but way more than I will ever want or need. I don't game online or have the room for it, so probably going to be selling it soon.

Sorry about your friend. If he built it recently then it is probably a good system. Don't only think of having a powerful PC as only something for gaming. Lots of programs take a good amount of ram and cpu power to do tasks. Having a couple windows of Chrome open while using spotify or watching youtube or netflix will eat up some Ram. Having a strong pc now will help small stuff like unzipping/zipping files go faster ,transferring files between HDD. Editing photos and video loads are some of the largest loads that you can put on a PC. Software load requirements and file size are only going to continue to increase in the near future. Thats why I said I build a pc that can still be relevant in 8 years.

My PC is used mainly as a house computer but also controls my home lighting system and I will use it to stream stuff to my home theater receiver. But I use it for my sim racing hence the 3 monitors. That takes some power to move them lol.
