Yeah... All of a sudden we can't catch a break, after not getting any for a while.

 

Damm see I thought it was Sunday night we were getting more

 

I think we are then as well.

 

I got maybe 1" of snow this morning. Supposed to be the mixed bag tomorrow. I'd prefer all snow vs sleet. Another threat for a big storm on Wednesday...

Yaa here to I believe we're supposed to get like 3-6 but then it's supposed to change over to rain/sleet which is not cool

 

Yeah I'm not liking the forecast today/tomorrow. Sucks. Supposed to be out tapping maple treed today but this will hamper progress for sure. Plus probably another snow day for my daughter tomorrow. Childcare is a nightmare to arrange on short notice.

 

Ohh boy your a fellow SAPPER huh? I haven't done it in a number of years now but coming up I used to love going wether it was to tap the tree's or spending a day in the sugar shack

 

Yeah man I absolutely love it. Been doing it on and off for many years. This year invested in sole serious equipment. And built a nice little sugar shack off my brother barn.

 

Damm yaa man that's actually a really nice set-up compared to the old tiny little shack I remember from when I was a kid hahaha

 

That is something on my bucket list of things to learn. There is no substitute for real maple syrup. Maple sugar ferments pretty good with cider to boost the ABV also.

It's really easy to do. You need a maple trees, a vessel to cook it in, and a fire. Small scale is really fun and very simple. You need about 40 gallons of sap to make a gallon of syrup. In a full season yout can get that from 3 or 4 taps.

Soooo excited just got the email from pelfrebilt and my bumpers should be shipping out late next week. Yeeeehaaaaw. Can't freaking wait then the skids from Mobtown should be here mid March.

 

Nice!!! Another reason why we have to all meet up when it gets warmer, to check out all the cool stuff we've been doing all winter long, as well as meeting the new peeps.

 

Curious if anyone local has done the needle bearing. Interested to know if any lessons learned before i rip the front end apart. My truck showed signs right after putting the leveling kit in.

I have the ESGC bushing coming this week. Will attempt the build this weekend. I'll have a puller tooler in case anyone needs it.

Can't think of anyone that has, but maybe post in the N.E. BS thread and see what happens. I think a few guys there might have done this already, or probably have the "know how" to be able to chime in and help.

 

That's pretty crazy cause I'm lifted 3in front and rear I did the diff drop with mine, but it seems the automatics have the drive line vibes, I have the manual and haven't had any issues with vibes.

 

Hey @vssman so I'm planning on painting my bumpers and skids the same way you did yours with the Por15 and then the bed liner but I've never actually seen what it looks like in person anyway in the next week or so we could possibly meet up so I could check out your rear ? If not no worries I'm sure I'm gonna like it .
