Happy hump day peeps. After some asking for input/advice, and a few pics, seems like I need to adjust my retros by aiming my driver's side light upwards a bit.

Hopefully will do it tonight.... hopefully.

I had seen it once or twice, but purposely stayed away.... WOW!

 

Yup just ordered these two... super excited and nervous all at the same time cause I see myself having a full headliner of patches in no time at all.

How's the output on those badboys? Have you used them at night yet?

 

Hard to tell because I need to align them. The driver's side is low and needs to be aimed up.

 

Did they give you instructions on how to properly align themselves? I recall it was have the truck something like 10 feet away from a wall. Mark the cut off, back straight up on level ground to 30 feet and adjust until the cut off is 2"(?) lower.

 

Yeah, something like that. I already did all of that last night, so got my garage wall marked up. Hopefully when the kids are asleep I can go pull the truck out, point it at the wall and adjust it. It's just the driver's side that needs to be done.

 

It looks like the lower cut off needs to go to the right just a bit too. Typicality the right one shines just about straight and the left one (drivers side) is turned a bit to the right side of the road and is slightly lower than the right (pass side).

 

I think it is already, it's just hard to see because of my garage and the stuff that's in there.

Yeah, I've seen it I think. I've been in constant contact with the guy that built them, and I think I know what and how to do it. Seems pretty straightforward, but that always " scares" me a bit.
