ARGH.

More and more I am really hating my job. Been quiet about it, but it's really pissing me the F off again. Especially since I hate covering for my co-worker, even though it's only fair since he has to cover for me when I'm out, and I was out for 2 weeks in the summer. Now he's been out for almost 2 weeks, and will be out again another 2 weeks at the end of December.

Not to mention that for about 2-3 days I have to not only cover for him, but also cover for another person. That shit really pisses me off.

Just your "average" 230 inbound emails today because of covering for him... not to mention that for every stupid email that comes in it usually takes about 2 emails out in response, so my "total" email for the day must be around 450-500 counting inbound and outbound.

OK, rant over.

There is no good coming from what you are going through, your health and family will suffer.

Don't you guys use Slack, Teams or another chat software for internal comms? It would save everyone so much time.

Naw, we don't use that. We use Microsoft Outlook for emails, and it's a combination of internal and external emails.

 

Longest 6.5 hours I ever did tonight.

UPS usually picks up people this time of year for temporary. The good workers usually get job offers end of season - mid January. Get hired as a driver, the Teamster benefits are too good to walk away from.

 

I’ve had enough of the brown. Our company was sold at a bargain rate from brown. So I know the corporate stuff and they suck. I won’t work for a paycheck and actually not like who I work for again thanks.

Id suggest you put more irons in the fire like my dad always said and start looking for better opportunities , an opportunities which you can grow in your job...

 

For a while I was actively looking every day, but then life got in the way, got stuck in a rut sort of speak with the daily routine and a lot going on over the summer so I stopped the search.

Gotta get back to it.

 

Oof. What a night.

Baby girl got sick while my wife was putting her to sleep last night. Then, an hour later my wife got sick. I was up all night taking care of little Michael who also got sick.

I am the only one not sick somehow.
