    Hey Guys,

Just got my first Tacoma, 2011 sr5 full cab. going to be honest, don't know anything about trucks but want to get a bit more of a aggressive look. Don't do much off roading but would like to start.

Want your opinions on what route to go. Was thinking about going with this lift kit from toytec. http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com/Bilstein-Adjustable-lift-kit-with-5100-shocks_p_132.html

Do any of you guys have experience with this or is there a cheaper way to go?

    Any pointers will be appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Seth

Welcome! If I had to do it over again, id go with the OME kit. I had OME on my 4runner and loveddddd it. Its also pretty popular on here. One thing I will say though, don't cheap out. You'll only end up doing it twice and wasting more money and time. Do it how you want and do it the right way the first time. That's my .02

    Hey Guys,

I just purcharsed the OME suspension lift kit for toytec, for my 2011 full cab. I was wondering if you could suggest I place I can get them installed for reasonable price.

Any suggestions would be great, I really don't want to take it the dealership or a pepboys.

    Cheers,
    seth

COMPLETE hail mary here...was driving home from work in Meriden and saw a white double cab Long bed tacoma with the satoshi grille, black wheels and tires and what appeared to be a lift. Anyone know who that could be? I saw the truck in cheshire on route 10 about 8 am.

    Thanks!

I always spot a completely blacked out huge tacoma, across from my work. "BMW of North Haven" at the A to Z rental, or something like that. Truck must be a 6 inch, with big tires.

    Hey guys.

Checking in from Watertown work in Rocky Hill.

I recently got a set of 265/75/16 duratracs and in a few months I'm going up with 5100s and an aal most likely.

Can anyone chime in with a good local alignment shop somewhere in Western or Central CT?

    TIA!

I'm from Naugy. I'd recommend Joe's Tire Shop in Waterbury or Pete's Front End also in Waterbury. Either do good work.

Now that you mention it. My brother was always a fan of Pete's for aligning his track cars. I'll have to check them out. Thanks!
