    I'm the same way. Having stuff from the previous owner bothers me even more. Half the reason why I debate buying a new one every once in a while... To just have a clean slate.

    Not much anymore. All that is left is the override module from his remote starter system. When I bought it there was front end damage that I didn't find until I started modding and some wiring left around.

    Overall not too bad, just annoying.

    Ha I tried that once. It has to be rewired back to original connections. I tried disconnecting the module to see what was going to happen and the truck wouldn't start after so I'll deal with it one day or have a new remote starter installed and have them replace the old module and clean up the wiring.

    It's a fairly easy vehicle. I wouldn't say that someone's first remote start in any vehicle is 'easy' but the Tacoma is pretty much straight forward. Make sure to solder everything!
