Oh I almost forgot! For some reason, not sure how or why it happens, but if my dog sees you holding a gun he goes ape shit big-time.

 

I would not believe that there is a significant statistical probability of a dog getting shot in ct until I saw the police reports. State laws vary about leash laws. In some states dog owners are at legal risk if the dogs are unleashed on private property where they do not have permission to be.

 

I'd rather not take a chance, but no leash needed in the woods I go in. He is never on a leash....he listens better than most humans.

 

Just a quick question ,now that the winter weather is arriving has anybody noticed that their trucks is running crappier now? Is it possible that we got the winter blends already migrating into ours gas stations. My truck seems to be running like s*** all of a sudden.

weatherman changed our dusting to 1-3, now it's showing 7" of snow in Danbury.
got to invent something to keep the town from putting that snow berm across my driveway when they plow. Sux clearing it at 11pm - so close to home from work, but not home yet.

Welp. I'll be getting my workout if it actually sticks - haven't prepped the snowblower for this year. Guess I know what I'm doing sometime next week!

 

Same, Oxford area went from 1-3" to now 6-10" by the end of the night. Going to be brutal...or maybe not. I'm skeptical.

 

I just prepped mine last Sunday... don't know how long it will last but glad I did.

 

Happy almost Friday! Crappy start to work so spent some time trolling some jerks on the tacomaworld Facebook page. Apparently some ppl think the new ford ranger will be better than the Tacoma because it’s got a bunch of fancy options. It don’t bother me what other ppl buy to be honest, but it was fun to be Gerald Broflovski aka skankhunt42 for a moment. In all seriousness, Taco>ranger any day.

I sat in the new Ranger (albeit a pre-production show circuit model) at the NYIAS last year and was thoroughly unimpressed, felt like 2006 in there

 

I thrink it’s funny how quick people are jumping on this bandwagon. They exited market in 06 because they simply couldn’t compete. They were cash strapped at the time and were quickly loosing market share. Their bread and butter is full size. Going to be interesting to see what happens; they don’t seem to committed to the midsize market historically.

Realistically how many people are going to pay a premium on a midsize truck, for options and creature comforts... and seriously, you simply can’t beat the reliability of a yota. Called bulletproof for a reason.

 

Got a ton of stuff done this morning. YAY ME!

Dropped the oldest off at daycare, came back home to load the winter wheels and tires in the truck, dropped it off at Firestone to get them put on, went to Agway with the FIL to pick up a ton of pellets, came home and put them away, put up the snow markers for the driveway, cleaned my leafs, put down Step 4 fertilizer on the grass since I hadn't done it yet, sorted the laundry, put some other stuff away, and DONE.

Now waiting for the FIL to come pick me up to go grab my truck.

My "question" now is, once I get my truck... Do I rock the wheels with or without center caps?

They're just TRD Sport wheels painted black with winter tires on...

 

At this rate, with the snow supposedly starting early, it'll be beer time soon!
