Cutoff is smooth and light output is awesome (HIDs in there. 5000k I believe). I'll make a move east myself, but not too far. Canton is the plan. It will be the last move for a while!

Hey guys I am located in the Fairfield area. Evan I like that bar in the bottom valence as I have told ya before. How long did the install and wiring take?

I had two 170s last year and never got to mount them. They were too big to fit behind my grill and the design in the back wouldn't let me mount them upside down on my Avid bumper bar.
I saw a couple members with the larger bar in their bumper and would love that. But I'm afraid of buying something so big that'll end up leaking shortly after install. Depending on the tax return maybe I'll end up with a new front bumper this spring. We'll see.

Haha waiting on tax return... Me too. Can't believe how high taxes are in Hartford. I lived there last year and I got my tax bill from them. Ugh.

How's Manchester? Lower because of mall and 37,262,726 shops? I used to be in East Hartford and after Pratt shut down most operations their mill rate skyrocketed.

I was tempted to buy those from eric lol. I have always wanted to do retros but they never made it to the top of the mod list, maybe after armor.

Thanks, i really like it and bought it used so it was hard to pass up at a discounted price. It actually wasn't my favorite design when i first started looking at bumpers, the shape is very different than others. Now when i look at other steel bumpers they look to bulky to me and im happy i ended up with CBI. The only design aspect that i am not a fan of is the top corners don't continue the line into the fender flares like most bumpers do. At the same time those corners are nice because they are cut out to go around the fender flares, so when your body twists on the frame a little (which is does pretty easily when wheeling) the bumper doesn't push against the fenders or pop the flares off.

Wiring was easy and pretty basic, i am still pretty new to wiring, probably took me 3 hours total to wire and install. The hardest part was test fitting the bumper by myself to figure out how much of the "lip" i had to trim to get the light bar to sit close to mesh for good light output.

    Hartford Mill Rate = $74.29
    Manchester Mill Rate = $37.44

If I had know about the mill rates, I would have waited until after I couldn't be charged Hartford's mill rate. I'm used to MA where it's the same rate across the state.

What were the original one you were looking at? I currently have Brute Force Fab and Damello Off Road on my list, leaning more toward BFF.

At first i was considering the all pro apex or relentless. Pelfreybuilt makes a nice bumper also. I have seen the demello is person, its pretty sweet.

36 on the 25th this month. I know a couple of people from this area my age that I went to college with. Most people I've met up here I've met through my wife. And most are younger. She's 31.

I just looked at CBI. I see they have a bumper + winch combo for $1,498.99. Unfortunately while estimating shipping, I get "Sorry, online ordering is unavailable to this destination and/or weight. Please double check your destination details."

I'm going to keep my eye on the NE for sale thread.

TacoAd...that thread is a great place to find stuff from members. Check out the regular buy/trade/sell section too. Sometimes there are members from NJ or NY you can hook up with or other members swinging thru.

They will ship it, john (johnnym) had one shipped to mass. I think eric (eborgie) has a 3 piece all pro for sale right now for pretty cheap, just needs a little paint maybe. Denis might still have his Apex up for sale. http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2n...pex-front-bumper-rear-bumper-side-pieces.html

evan is correct. eborgie (Erik) has/had one up in the NE thread. Got my retros off him. I was there when he was removing it. Its nice. Does need a little touch up but I'd have snagged that too if my truck wasn't my daily driver.

Yeah. I've seen his. I turned away from it due to the rust spots, how large the gap looks, and the lights. Currently my truck is my daily, but assuming my other vehicle keeps going, come spring time the taco will go back to being my 2ndary.

I like Ted's Montana Grill, Plan B Burger, and City Steam. All great IMO.
