Kinda already off to a shitty start... Oldest woke up yesterday with a raspy voice. By the time I got him from daycare he said his throat hurt a bit. By the time it was bed time he had a fever. Gave him meds. Woke up at 6:30, fever again more meds. Wife is taking him to the doc at 12:30. Thinking either strep throat, or possibly ear infection, but more leaning towards the first. Breaks my heart when kids are sick.

 

Yup.
Schools, grocery carts and gas pump nozzles are giant petri dishes of goodness.

Truth be told, he's actually been doing really as far as getting, or not getting, sick. Aside from the usual cold here and there, he hasn't been "officially" sick in a long time.

Cant do anything about sick kids during the test, so let t go.
Knock out the test so you can get groovy gubmint insurance to keep those kids in the best Dr.'s.

There must have been at least 40-50 people there.

It was 100 questions, and had two hours to do it. A lot of math questions which I absolutely suck at, a lot of interpretation questions, stuff like that.

Took me almost the entire alloted time to do it.

Now I play the waiting game for the letter that tells me my score, and if I made it to the next level of the process or not.

 

Keep your hopes up Nuno! I guarantee more than half did way worse than you

 

Not that you were bad at it but tests like that are designed to see where people's weak spots are.

 

Yeah... But if I score lower than 70 I'm automatically out of the running.

The plan is to go to soccer tomorrow morning. Then come home to change,, grab the stuff and meet up with you guys there. The grill is already in the bed. Just gonna grab the backup bulbs, bed stiffeners (just in case), and trailer plug relocation bracket (just in case as well). If we don't get to any of it it's no biggie. Grabbing it just in case we finish your project super fast and no one wants to go home early.
