Yeah... our little dog was flipping out as well while the thunder was going on. Woke up the wife and I, but luckily not the kids.

 

Hey A/V folks - TV reception question:

--> converter box a / tv A
roof antenna --> cable --> converter box b / tv B
--> digital ready tv C

Same antenna, same cable - why do I get different channels / "no signal" messages on the tv's. Say tv A gets ch 1,2,5. Tv B gets 2,3,5,6. Tv C gets 3,4,7 channels. All different brand TV's. Are tuners really so different that they read signals so differently?

 

potentially yes - especially if you have a signal saturated with noise. It looks like you have a tri-splitter. Eliminate it and run to one TV at a time to see what you get. You may need an amplified splitter.

Have to go to NYC for work today, with my supervisor and someone else, to go hang out at one of our showrooms down there. They asked me if I wanted to go so I could see the showroom since they remodeled it a little while back. Catching the train out of Southeast (Brewster NY) at 8.

 

Them inviting you is a good sign they don't plan on firing you or taking your co-workers complaints seriously. Why educate someone you will fire soon?


Who knows, maybe you will meet someone down there and you will get an offer at a job you actually want!
