We swept the 2 game series!

 

I was underwhelmed. Had some show issues - couldn't find my pass, went down w/ ID, they couldn't find me in the computer, couldn't find the publisher. Was about to give up & call it a day, then tried 1 last time w/ a different person in a different registration area. Same problems, but she was a can-do person, sent me to the press office with a script to give them & Viola - I got in.

Been toying w/ selling everything & getting 1 'younger', lower miles vehicle. I'm almost 570k between my 3 Toyotii.
Tried on the Taco - bigger outside, still small inside (vs. my 2002)
Tried on Tundra - bigger outside, HUGE coffee table btwn front seats, useless tiny bed. But you can get a bench, you can get more bed.
Tried on RAV4 - nah
Tried a Highlander - uh, nah. Too coddled car cocoon.
Tried on a 4Runner - Maybe. Best (IMO) balance of car/truck, being more heavily basic truck like inside. It's not so marshmallow pillow.

Was focused on safety today for the work part of the show. Current 4 Toyo safety features;
-pedestrian detection, -lane departure/steering assist, -auto highbeams, -road sign reading.
Two new features (TSS 2.0) being rolled out w/ product redesigns;
-full speed radar cruise control (lets cruise handle traffic bog-downs), -lane tracking (keeps you centered in lane).

Time to go learn about the 4Runners w/ the back window that opens. (I've got a thing for back windows opening )

Oldest came down with something yesterday... Threw up at daycare so the wife had to go get him. Small fever throughout the day. This morning up to 102 point something. Guess the wife is spending the last day of spring break by going to the doctor and taking care of a sick kid. But hey, at least it's only 1 and not both that are sick... Yet.

Thanks Nuno! Tried to be as transparent as possible in the FS ad. Not so much concerned with actual dollar value it sells for as I am it going to a good home.
