Here it is... This one works with the factory hitch which was a requirement for me. Plus it was half price of new and the guy mounted it and didn't like the bulky look. Now I'm going to get rid of the logos - either led pods or just weld em' up.

 

What's up guys, I'm going to be back home in Brookfield for thanksgiving and picking up new tires from my dad, anyone know a shop that will mount and balance for reasonabl $, also maybe New Milford.

 

Soooo I'm very excited to sayyy that I have officially ordered my SOFT TOPPER in the group by going on now and I got it for a great deal of 10% off hell ya. I hunt heavy late season. I'm usually on vacation from mid-Nov. to New Years. One advantage to being an old fart is I get 6 weeks vacation.

 

Were you thinking something local or out of State? Just one night or a weekend? If you're thinking raush creek I'd probably be out, even the "easy" trails look like they involve a lot of rocky terrain, anyone ever been there to see the trails first hand?

 

I also have "A" season shotgun in the watershed down my way. It's literaly a 6 minute drive from where I sit now.

 

I'm in Brookfield so hittme up when you're in town and we'll meet up and grab a beer or something!

 

That sounds like it would be a fun trip but would definitely need a lot of planning and advanced notice on my part because of having a "better half" and two little munchkins. Not for them to go, but to make sure the wife would be cool with it and handling the kiddos alone.

 

Got my black parts to murder it out! Now just have to find time to install and still waiting for a Hilux switch!

That's a good? ?? I haven't gotten that far yet I was thinking something local for the first trip maybe just a lil over night thing we don't even have to do any wheeling we can just do a hang out camp out over night thing.

I've been there a number of times. A completely stock Taco without any armor is fine at Rausch on any of the green trails. The terrain there can accomodate anybody but if a stock truck stays on greens they are fine. I usually do greens, blues and some blacks but I'm lifted with bigger tires, sliders and skids

 

Today is Thursday man that's not cool I thought it was Friday but then I realized I got paid today meaning it's Thursday

 

Soo I'm really excited for my Soft Topper but I'm a lil curious about a few things like is it hard to mount the rails from topper to rails on bed, also any helpful tips for installation @dcorbalis @bucktales, anyone else with a topper

 

The rails mount right into the track on the inside of the bed. Just take your time making sure they stay flat on the rail and that the clamps are on solid. the frame goes together easy and so does the topper. It is recommended that you you leave the topper attracted for a week to stretch it out to form it. Took me about an hour.
