    My name is Kris.
    I have lurked on your forums for a few years now. I have stalked on your website since right after I bought my truck in 09 usually threads associated with resetting the Maint light, tire inflation light and disabling VSC and traction control. I have even stalked a few of your trucks, to organize my thoughts and establish in which direction I want my truck build to go. I am a recovering drag strip addict, and after years of racing and building street/strip cars I thought I would take a break from racing and build a truck. I built a 11 second 600hp Subaru and after about $50,000 and three transmissions later I decided to take a short hiatus from racing and am substituting it with my Tacoma build/fabrication which I will cover in depth. I have been a mechanic in the Army going on 15 years now and prior to my enlistment I worked at a Commercial diesel engine rebuilding shop out of Adelanto California. I was riased in High Desert of Victorville California so prerunning/dirt/sand sports are in my blood. My father and grandfather were both welders/fabricators and built buggys/sandrails as a hobby. I used to be part owner of a shop that is still operating out of El Paso Tx called SVS Performance. I will be doing all my own welding and fabrication myself.
