It should, you may want to purchase some Goo Gone to remove any left over residue once you have the badge off. You can youtube some "debadging" videos for reference

Plasti-dip it! That way if you don't like it you can just peel it off.

 

I've used plasti dip before and eventually it starts peeling

Truck looks GREAT! We tend toward a more blacked out look around here too. After wheels/tires/suspension if you just want an appearance change there are some good choices of smoked or different taillights. We use plasti-dip a lot and we sell new, black emblems too if you need those. It's all go though, we agree - no rush, take your time, but enjoy making it you. So you think the best thing to get rid of the chrome is to plasti dip it?

 

What I did on my truck was plasti-dipped the badges,no need to remove them. I also bought a color match grille because I didn’t think that plasti-dip would hold up to the extra scrubbing to get the bug shit off.

 

Where did u buy the color matched grill?

 

And also do they make bumpers that are color matched ? Mine has chrome on it too

 

If your gonna stick with an oem bumper the trd sport trucks got color matched bumpers front and rear. Along with a color matched grill
