So it's been years since I've done anything to my 09 Taco. About time I change that.

I want to start out by changing up the rims. I'm Looking at these new rims called the Dropstars 645B 18 inch rims. They are very cool. However, my old rims (Incubus crushers) are neat, but I knew nothing about the offset. (Which is sucky)

I believe stance is the correct term, but I would like a stance of the body of the tire to bump outward more. I've looked into spacer kits but heard mixed reviews considering the fact that they damage the axle.

My question is, for a bigger rim (18-inch) what kind of offset should i go with? -24? -12? Any advice would be appreciated.

I believe dropstars only offer the rim 18 inch in -12 offset, would that be adequate?

    Anyone seen my wallet?
-12 is fine.. but what width wheel, what size tires are you going to run? Lift? Those matter as well.

Diameter is going to be 18 inches. I have a three inch spacer on the front end of the truck but If i go with a deeper dish offset, then i may run into rubbing issues.
