Hey everyone. I'm new to TW. Have kinda known about Tacoma World through an old Insurance agent. Glad to be here.
So, I have a 2001 Tacoma 4x4 3.4L. Stick shift. It's my 3rd Toyota. Love those trucks. Anyway. Been having trouble for about the last year with a sensor. I think. It's starting to nickel and dime me. Already replaced both Cats. Then the upstream o2 sensor.
Finally got the check engine light to stay off. But then right after that had a problem with it cutting out while driving. So, we're going to change the master airflow sensor. It was parked for about two weeks. Then I started driving it again for the past three weeks. Driving fine, till today. The check engine light came back shortly after the worst rattling I've ever heard it make. So I had the code checked. Came back as Bank 1 Cat.
Anyone have any helpful information on this type of thing? Be much appreciated. Thanks!

    Welcome to TW!

I'm not super familiar with 1st gens so can't really help you out unfortunately. You may have more luck asking about this in the 1 gen forum rather than the new members one though.

    Good luck!
