Hey everyone. I just made my first major vehicle purchase and went with a Tacoma. This site was extremely helpful when I was doing research and I wanted to thank you all. Anyway, I picked up a 2010 access cab sr5 with the 2.7 4wd and the 5 speed. It also has the tow package, chrome tube steps and the extra tie downs in the bed. Anyway, I picked it up with 23k miles for just over 20.5k at the local Toyota dealer. How'd I do?

Also, there is a 24k mile or 24 month warranty on it covering everything. I need to do all scheduled maintenance at their facility though every 5k miles or 4 months. Does this seem worth it to you guys? I really don see much going wrong and would rather do the work myself. If I can't get these pics to go up from my phone I promise I will get some up soon. Thanks guys!

As far as the scheduled maintenance goes, if it's required to honor the warranty I say just do it...but be sure to check their work!

While I'd like to hope most dealership service centers are reliable, there have been reports here of folks not getting things done that were paid for (or, in the case of included maintenance, supposed to have been done). For example oil filters not been replaced during oil changes...which is why I've started putting marks on mine.

Larry, I actually drove east to get it. Im in York county.

Wheels were pretty high up on my list actually. I haven't gotten excited about much after market stuff for it, but these stock steelies are boring.

    Thanks everyone

Some stock TRD Sport 17" wheels would look great and you can pick them up from Egay or Cracklist for pretty cheap.

I'm thinking wheels, maybe fog lights, tonneau cover or tool box, and maybe some type of pushbar. I don't care for wheels over 16" and don't really care for a lift either. I say that about wheel size because of rotational mass and tire cost/availability.
